2026 Fantasy Outlook
The No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, Citron was a Day 1 starter for the Mystics and combined with Kiki Iriafen to form a solid rookie duo in Washington. Despite the strong production from the youngsters, the Mystics were not overly competitive, missing the playoffs by seven games after losing 10 straight to end the season. However, the development of Citron and Iriafen made it a successful season. Citron ended her rookie campaign averaging 14.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals while posting 47/45/87 shooting splits. The all-around production, combined with stellar efficiency, made Citron a top fantasy option last season. While her consistency stood out in Year 1, she also flashed upside, notching two games with at least 20 points and 10 assists. Citron's floor makes her a safe pick in fantasy, but you may have to reach to acquire her in drafts, as the consensus believes the Notre Dame product is going to take another leap in Year 2, especially if Washington can stay competitive in 2026. Double-doubles in win Wednesday
Citron finished with 26 points (7-13 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 12-12 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and one block across 38 minutes in Wednesday's 88-81 win over the Sun.
ANALYSIS
Citron failed to make any of her four three-point tries, though she at least made a season-high 12 free throws while recording her first double-double of the 2026 campaign. With Kiki Iriafen (ankle) and Shakira Austin (knee) both sidelined, Citron scored over 20 points for the first time since the 92-87 loss to the Sparks on May 29. Citron's uptick in scoring could continue as long as Iriafen and Austin are out of commission.

2025 Fantasy Outlook
Citron displayed a well-rounded skill set over her four seasons at Notre Dame and rose up draft boards after several other players -- including college teammate Olivia Miles -- elected to wait before going pro. However, Citron earned her status as a lottery pick, averaging 14.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.8 steals in 33.3 minutes per game during her time with the Fighting Irish, and she shot 37.7 percent from beyond the arc over the last three seasons. She should have plenty of chances to contribute for the rebuilding Mystics in 2025 after being selected at No. 3 overall, even though the team also selected Kiki Iriafen with the fourth overall pick. Citron will play alongside veteran Brittney Sykes in Washington's backcourt, and the rookie should have an opportunity to earn a starting role during training camp. Citron should be able to carve out ample playing time to begin her time in the WNBA, and her versatile skill set makes her an intriguing target in the mid-to-late rounds of fantasy drafts.
