2026 Fantasy Outlook
Diggins got off to a strong start in the 2025 campaign, averaging 17.5 points, 5.8 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals per contest in 23 games before the All-Star break. She also earned her seventh career All-Star nod. Her scoring dipped slightly after Brittney Sykes was acquired from the Mystics in early August, though Diggins still averaged 6.4 assists per tilt over the final 14 regular-season games. The 35-year-old finished with averages of 15.5 points, 6.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 2.0 combined steals-plus-blocks over 31.2 minutes per game in 43 regular-season appearances. She also shot 36.5 percent from beyond the arc, marking her most efficient season from downtown since 2021. While her fantasy value took a slight hit last season with the Storm, Diggins remains a valuable early-round option thanks to consistent assists and steals. After signing a two-year deal with the Sky during the offseason, Diggins should be a focal point for a team that traded Angel Reese and Ariel Atkins ahead of the 2026 campaign. Read Past Outlooks
Won't return versus Phoenix
Diggins (eye) won't return to Friday's game against Phoenix. She'll finish with zero points (0-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists and one steal across 12 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Not only did Diggins have trouble getting her shots to fall, but she also suffered an eye injury late in the first half. There should be an update on her condition by Saturday night, and her next chance to play will come Sunday against Minnesota. If the veteran guard is forced to miss additional time, Natasha Cloud, who started the second half, and Rachel Banham will likely be more involved.

Diggins-Smith missed the entire 2023 season due to her pregnancy, but she formed a potent tandem alongside Jewell Loyd and Nneka Ogwumike in Seattle last year and appeared in every game. Diggins-Smith wasn't utilized as much as a scorer -- her average of 15.1 points per game was her lowest mark since 2016 -- but she averaged a career-high 6.4 assists to go with 2.6 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game. However, the 34-year-old should be Seattle's top backcourt option in 2025 after the team traded Loyd to the Aces, so Diggins-Smith could see some more success in the scoring column to complement her solid secondary figures.
