2026 Fantasy Outlook
The 2022 No. 1 overall pick's stats have looked eerily similar over the past three seasons, though she set career highs in both assists (4.6) and three-pointers made (3.1 on 32.2 percent shooting) per game in 2025. Howard has been the definition of consistency for Atlanta and has produced on both ends of the floor, earning All-Defensive Second Team honors last season. She was a restricted free agent during the offseason and will be one of several key players to remain with the Dream for the 2026 campaign. Although the team lost Brittney Griner to Connecticut, Atlanta traded for Angel Reese, who should provide a boost alongside Howard in the frontcourt. Read Past Outlooks

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
2023
After a stellar rookie season in 2022, Howard has failed to take her game to the next level in back-to-back seasons. However, the 2022 No. 1 overall pick remains an elite producer, averaging at least 16 points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal and two three-pointers per game in each of her first three WNBA seasons. Atlanta added Brionna Jones and swapped Tina Charles for Brittney Griner this offseason while retaining Jordin Canada and Allisha Gray. After back-to-back first-round exits, the revamped Dream have high hopes for 2025, but Howard will have to take a leap into superstardom if they're going to achieve their lofty goals. She certainly has the potential to return first-round value, but her lack of statistical progression makes her a safer option in the second or third rounds of fantasy drafts.
