2026 Fantasy Outlook
After spending the first eight years of her career in Washington, Cloud joined the Mercury in 2024 before being traded to New York ahead of the 2025 campaign. She saw a slight decrease in playing time, averaging below 30 minutes per game for the first time since 2018, and she also averaged 8.5 field-goal attempts per game after back-to-back years with double-digit averages. However, she still generated 10.1 points per game, her fourth consecutive double-digit average, while remaining consistent in most other categories, although her average of 5.1 assists per game was her lowest mark since 2018. Cloud was an unrestricted free agent ahead of the 2026 season and went unsigned until after the preseason, when she inked a deal with Chicago, where she'll join fellow veteran guards Skylar Diggins and Courtney Vandersloot. Cloud still has fantasy upside, but she was somewhat inconsistent during her time with the Liberty and will attempt to bounce back in 2026. Read Past Outlooks
Signs with Chicago
Cloud signed a one-year, $555,000 contract with the Sky on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Cloud has been productive throughout most of her 10 seasons in the WNBA, and she's maintained that production while playing for several teams across the past few seasons. She spent her last season in Washington in 2023 before joining the Mercury in 2024 and the Liberty in 2025. She went unsigned during the 2026 preseason but will get another change of scenery this season. The Sky parted ways with Hailey Van Lith on Monday, and Cloud will join a backcourt that features plenty of veteran talent, including Skylar Diggins (personal) and Courtney Vandersloot (knee). It's not yet clear whether Vandersloot will be ready for Saturday's Opening Night matchup against Portland, but Cloud could have an opportunity to step into a prominent role right away in 2026.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2024
2023
2022
Cloud was traded to the Mercury for the 2024 season after spending the first eight years of her career in Washington, but her production remained steady with her new team despite playing alongside scoring threats like Diana Taurasi and Kahleah Copper. Cloud averaged 11.5 points, 6.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds in 33.3 minutes per game but was on the move during the offseason, as she was initially traded to the Sun before being moved to New York. Cloud should have a chance to remain productive with her new team after Courtney Vandersloot signed with the Sky. While the 33-year-old Cloud will be playing for the defending champions, she has slightly more scoring upside than Vandersloot while also offering decent production as a passer. Cloud had a successful season in Phoenix and should have plenty of opportunities in New York, making her an intriguing mid-round fantasy option.
