2026 Fantasy Outlook
Collier is coming off a second consecutive second-place finish in MVP voting in 2025, during which she averaged 22.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.5 blocks in 32.3 minutes per contest across 33 regular-season appearances. She was extremely efficient, becoming just the second player in WNBA history to finish the regular season with 50/40/90 shooting splits and the first to do so while averaging 20-plus points per game. However, the 29-year-old forward missed time with a right ankle sprain and later sustained a Grade 2 tear of three ligaments in her left ankle and a muscle in her shin during the WNBA Semifinals. The superstar underwent bilateral ankle surgeries in early January and is expected to miss four to six months, so it appears likely she'll miss time to begin the 2026 campaign. She is an unrestricted free agent, but the expectation is that she'll return to Minnesota. Read Past Outlooks
Gets super max deal from Lynx
Collier (ankle) agreed to a one-year, $1.4 million contract with Minnesota on Thursday, ESPN's Kendra Andrews reports.
ANALYSIS
Collier put together one of the best seasons of her WNBA career in 2025, and she'll be rewarded with a super max contract. She averaged 22.9 points per game while shooting 53.1 percent from the field and 40.3 percent from beyond the arc over 33 appearances. The 29-year-old underwent surgery on both of her ankles in January and the team has yet to provide an update on her rehab, so it's not yet clear if she'll be ready for the start of the 2026 campaign.

The Lynx made several acquisitions ahead of the 2024 campaign that put them back into title contention, but Collier remained the focal point for the team in her second year removed from maternity leave. She missed five games ahead of the All-Star break due to a foot injury but still appeared in 34 regular-season matchups, averaging 20.4 points to go with career-high marks of 9.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.4 blocks in 34.7 minutes per game. The 28-year-old has seen her numbers increase in her two seasons following her pregnancy, and that trend should continue in 2025 as the Lynx attempt to secure their first championship since 2017.
