2026 Fantasy Outlook
During her first two years in the WNBA, Martin has been a serviceable streaming option in deeper fantasy leagues, but her inconsistent role and production have capped her upside. Last season, she averaged 6.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 16.4 minutes per game, with her value spiking when she got hot from three. Martin scored a career-high 21 points against the Liberty on June 25, but she also had eight scoreless outings and finished in single digits 23 times. She's started only six of her first 76 regular-season appearances in the WNBA and will likely be buried on Golden State's depth chart in 2026, making her minutes sporadic. While a low-priority asset on draft day, Martin should be a hot waiver-wire pickup if injuries hit Golden State's backcourt. Read Past Outlooks
Set to miss at least one week
The Valkyries announced Tuesday that Martin has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 right quad strain and will be re-evaluated in a week, Sara Jane Gamelli of BallisLife.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Martin served as a starter during Saturday's preseason win over the Storm and recorded eight points, seven rebounds and two assists in 23 minutes. It's not yet clear whether she sustained her injury during the exhibition, but she'll be sidelined for at least a week of practice late in training camp. Whether she'll be forced to miss any time to begin the regular season remains to be seen, but even if she's available for the Valkyries' Opening Night matchup against Seattle on May 8, it wouldn't be surprising to see her workload monitored.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
Martin was selected by the Aces in the second round of the 2024 WNBA Draft and saw relatively consistent minutes early in the season while the team dealt with injuries. However, her role dwindled down the stretch, and she averaged just 2.6 points and 1.6 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game over 34 regular-season appearances. She was selected by the Valkyries during the expansion draft during the offseason and will have an opportunity for a fresh start during her second professional season. While the 24-year-old's playing time could increase as part of the league's newest franchise, she'll likely be behind Tiffany Hayes and Julie Vanloo on the depth chart, leaving her to compete with Juste Jocyte and Veronica Burton for minutes.
