2026 Fantasy Outlook
After playing just 20 regular-season games in 2024, Canada dealt with injuries yet again in 2025. The 30-year-old guard missed the first seven games of the season with a right knee injury, and she also sat out an extended period after the All-Star break due to a right hamstring injury. She was relatively productive when healthy, finishing with averages of 11.2 points, 5.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 28.0 minutes per game across 28 regular-season appearances. Canada will likely remain a reliable distributor after re-signing with the Dream during the offseason, as she's averaged at least 5.2 assists per game in six of her eight WNBA seasons. She'll continue to be surrounded by Allisha Gray, Rhyne Howard and Brionna Jones, while the team also traded for Angel Reese this spring. Canada should remain a reliable fantasy contributor in 2026. Career-high 14 assists Sunday
GAtlanta Dream
May 24, 2026
Canada contributed 11 points (4-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 14 assists, seven rebounds, three steals and one block across 31 minutes in Sunday's 82-80 win over the Mercury.
ANALYSIS
Canada continues to impress as a playmaker to begin the regular season and chipped in a career-high 14 assists Sunday. She also tied her season high in rebounds and added three-plus steals for the third time in the last four games. The 30-year-old floor general has tallied at least five assists in all five regular-season games thus far, during which she's averaged 12.4 points, 7.2 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 2.8 steals in 30.5 minutes per contest.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
2023
2022
Canada had an injury-plagued start to the 2024 campaign, as she missed the first 14 games of the season due to a right hand injury before missing the six games ahead of the Olympic break due to a finger issue. However, she was relatively productive when healthy, including a career-high 3.5 rebounds per game. After Canada averaged a career-high 13.3 points on 10.6 field-goal attempts per game with the Sparks in 2023, her shot volume decreased during her first year in Atlanta, but she still averaged 10.6 points with the Dream, marking the second time in her career she's averaged double-digit points per game. The 29-year-old sustained a right knee injury during the preseason that will force her to miss the start of the regular season. However, once she's healthy, she could see increased opportunities as a passer now that the Dream will have Brittney Griner and Brionna Jones in the frontcourt.
Canada re-signed with the Sparks on a one-year deal ahead of the 2023 campaign and had one of the best years of her career while serving exclusively as a starter. The 28-year-old averaged 13.3 points, 6.0 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 2.3 steals in 32.6 minutes per game, all the best marks of her career. She shot just 17.2 percent from beyond the arc over the first five years of her career but converted 33.3 percent of her career-high 3.2 three-point attempts last season. She was designated as a core player by the Sparks ahead of the 2024 campaign, but the team executed a sign-and-trade move with the Dream in February. She'll join a talented roster that includes Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray, as well as one of the most intriguing offseason signings in Tina Charles. Canada should have plenty of opportunities to maintain her success in the assists column with her new team, but her scoring potential will likely hinge on whether she can maintain her three-point volume and efficiency in 2024. Rhyne Howard attempted a team-high 7.2 three-pointers per game last year, but Canada could take over perimeter production nicely from Aari McDonald, who attempted 3.3 three-pointers per game last year and was traded to the Sparks this offseason. Canada should remain a reliable mid-round target in fantasy drafts, but her upside will likely depend on whether she maintains solid scoring production in Atlanta.
Canada served mainly as a starter with the Storm during her second WNBA season in 2019, but her role declined over the proceeding two. However, she joined the Sparks ahead of the 2022 campaign and had a resurgence in her production, averaging 9.2 points, 5.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 27.0 minutes per game while starting in 25 of her 32 appearances. The 27-year-old had to settle for a training camp contract with Los Angeles ahead of the 2023 campaign and will have to compete with new addition Jasmine Thomas for a role in the backcourt, but if Canada can secure minutes with the Sparks once again, she's a decent fantasy sleeper.
Canada has seen her production drop in each of the last two years and had her qualifying offer rescinded by Seattle following the 2021 campaign. She signed a one-year contract with the Sparks this offseason and figures to be fighting for the final roster spot with Arella Guirantes, Lauren Cox and Jasmine Walker (knee). The 5-foot-6 guard has never been a prolific scorer, but she does bring elite defense, veteran leadership and a knack for getting her teammates involved. Barring numerous injuries, Canada isn't expected to garner a big enough role to be fantasy relevant during the 2022 campaign.
