An ankle injury ended up ruining her campaign, costing her the final 12 games of 2025, and Sheldon's role with her new team was never quite able to become defined as a result. She'll have yet another change of scenery in 2026 after being traded to the Sky for a first-round pick. Following a productive collegiate career at Ohio State, Sheldon carved out relatively consistent minutes for the struggling Wings as a rookie in 2024 and averaged 5.4 points, 2.5 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 23.3 minutes per game over 40 appearances (26 starts). The 24-year-old was traded to Connecticut in February, but she could have trouble earning a starting role on the team's new-look roster, especially if the Sun follow through on their plan to deny Marina Mabrey's trade request. If Sheldon comes off the bench, she'll likely have to compete for minutes with Lindsay Allen, which would limit the fantasy upside for both players. However, Sheldon showed some promise as a rookie and could at least have some streaming value in 2025.
