Grace Berger

Selected seventh overall by the Fever - their second pick of the night after taking Aliyah Boston with the first pick of the draft - Berger joins a backcourt with some minutes open beside cornerstone Kelsey Mitchell if the rookie can prove her worth. Berger is a pure distributor of the ball, churning out 5.8 assists per game in her 24 contests for the Hoosiers in 2022-23 and north of 4.5 per game in the last three seasons. She's also been an efficient shooter in her time with Indiana, albeit without much of a three-point shot. However, Berger did up her three-point efficiency fifth-year senior, connecting on 40.7 percent of her attempts after shooting no better than 32.4 percent from deep in her previous four seasons. Berger has landed in a team context that could afford her some playing time as a rookie, though she'll likely be competing with Erica Wheeler, Kristy Wallace and Destanni Henderson.
