2026 Fantasy Outlook
Magbegor took a significant step back on the offensive end in 2025, averaging 8.0 points while shooting a career-worst 49.3 percent from the field on 6.5 attempts per game across 44 regular-season outings. However, the 26-year-old center remained dominant defensively after being named to the All-Defensive First Team in 2024, posting averages of 2.2 blocks and 0.7 steals while earning All-Defensive Second Team honors for the third time in her career. Magbegor also saw her playing time dip slightly last season due to the arrival of Dominique Malonga, who showed significant promise in the second half of the campaign. Magbegor sustained a right foot injury while competing for Australia during the offseason, and she's expected to miss the first few weeks of the 2026 campaign as a result, while her absence should allow Malonga and rookie Awa Fam to see increased roles for Seattle early in the season. Probable for Thursday

Magbegor (foot) is listed as probable for Thursday's game against the Mercury.
ANALYSIS
Magbegor is trending toward making her season debut after suffering a right foot injury while playing for Australia in the 2026 FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers. The 26-year-old center could operate under a minutes restriction if she returns Thursday, though her presence would leave fewer minutes available for the likes of Stefanie Dolson and Awa Fam. Magbegor averaged 8.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.2 blocks and 2.1 assists in 27.3 minutes per game across 44 regular-season outings in 2025.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
2023
2022
The Storm strengthened their roster ahead of the 2024 season by acquiring Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins-Smith, but Magbegor's production remained consistent prior to the Olympic break, as she averaged 13.0 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 31.8 minutes per game over her first 25 appearances of the season. However, her role declined slightly down the stretch after Seattle added Gabby Williams. Over Magbegor's final 12 regular-season appearances, she averaged 9.0 points and 6.5 rebounds in 28.7 minutes per game, which are discouraging numbers, especially considering that Williams signed a one-year, $225,000 contract with the Storm ahead of the 2025 campaign. Magbegor still has a relatively high fantasy floor, but her upside will likely be limited as long as Williams and Ogwumike are healthy.
Magbegor has improved over her first four professional seasons, and she took the biggest step of her career in 2023 after Breanna Stewart signed with the Liberty. Magbegor served exclusively as a starter and averaged 13.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.1 steals in 32.6 minutes per game, all the best marks of her career. Despite her starting role, she appeared in every matchup for the first time since the 22-game 2020 season. The 24-year-old doesn't shoot many three-pointers, but her average in blocks ranked second in the league, behind only A'ja Wilson. Magbegor thrived in her prominent role alongside Jewell Loyd in Seattle and established herself as a well-rounded fantasy contributor. However, she'll have additional competition for work in 2024 since the Storm signed Skylar Diggins-Smith and Nneka Ogwumike. Magbegor should have a starting role as part of the team's talented lineup, but she'll likely be the fourth option for work on offense, which limits her fantasy upside. She still has the potential to have a solid career in the WNBA and thrives defensively, but she'll have competition for touches this season.
Magbegor broke out last season with the Storm, averaging 11.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 2.4 blocks and 1.2 steals over 28.4 minutes per game in her first 22 contests. Magbegor saw her role decline in the second half of the season following the Storm's acquisition of Tina Charles. With Breanna Stewart leaving the mix and Charles presumably gone as well, there will be plenty of production to fill on both ends of the floor. Magbegor should be a big part of that. Not only is she an invaluable rim protector, but Magbegor scores at a solid rate and even stretches the floor occasionally, shooting 34.5 percent from deep on limited attempts. The fourth-year forward's well-rounded stat lines make her extremely valuable in rotisserie formats, but she still sports plenty of points league value and should net a career year in 2023.
Magbegor likely benefitted from an entire offseason to get stronger around the rim entering 2021, hauling in nearly four boards per game and 1.5 per contest on the offensive glass after finishing with only 2.5 rebounds per contest in 2020. The presence of Mercedes Russell remains an obstacle to Magbegor securing a more prominent role in the rotation, as the two figure to split a lot of playing time again this year. Nevertheless, Magbegor slightly expanded her range in 2021, knocking down five of her nine tries from beyond the arc. She also improved from the line, connecting on 84.6 percent of her free-throw attempts, so there's reason for optimism about Magbegor entering her third campaign. Magbegor could see her minutes expand should Russell or Breanna Stewart miss any time.
