Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu

It took Fankam Mendjiadeu until late June to carve out a role in her rookie campaign, and she didn't look back, playing double-digit minutes in 23 of her next 24 games. During that stretch, she averaged 5.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 0.5 steals and 0.5 blocks in 17.8 minutes. She even started 21 straight games but failed to maintain strong production after averaging 12.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 0.7 steals in 29.7 minutes over her first three career starts. However, she was mostly a token starter for a struggling Seattle team, playing 20-plus minutes just six times as a starter. Fankam Mendjiadeu's development may be prioritized again, but the Storm added Skylar Diggins-Smith and Nneka Ogwumike to pair with Jewell Loyd this offseason, so an improved team may mean less minutes for Fankam Mendjiadeu in Year 2.
