Dominique Malonga

Playing in a loaded frontcourt, Malonga saw a limited role to start her rookie season, scoring in double figures only once over her first 23 appearances while averaging 9.0 minutes a night. However, from July 24 through the end of the playoffs, Malonga's role expanded, and she proved worthy of the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft. Despite playing only 21 minutes per game over her final 22 appearances, Malonga averaged 11.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.3 blocks and 0.7 steals while posting 57/50/58 shooting splits. After several key contributors left via free agency, Seattle may have no choice but to force Malonga into a major role, which would spike her fantasy value, especially since Ezi Magbegor may miss the start of the season, though the team also selected Awa Fam with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft. When Malonga played at least 24 minutes last season, she averaged 17.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks.
