Evans' availability to start 2026 is in question after she was ruled out of the Unrivaled playoffs with a left lower extremity injury, and the Aces announced in mid-April that she'll be sidelined indefinitely. When healthy, the 27-year-old proved to be a reliable bench spark for Las Vegas in 2025, appearing in all 44 regular-season games while averaging 6.6 points, 2.2 assists and 1.1 rebounds in 17.7 minutes per game. Her modest numbers limit her season-long appeal, but she's flashed upside, including a 21-point, four-steal performance during Game 1 of the WNBA Finals. However, those outings are rare given her reserve role behind Jewell Loyd and Chelsea Gray. Evans is best treated as a deep-league streaming option, whose value hinges entirely on her health and role. Evans was a valuable asset off the bench for the Sky in 2023, and she began the 2024 season as a starter after Kahleah Copper was traded to Phoenix. Evans had decent fantasy production as a starter, but she lost her starting job to Chennedy Carter after just 12 games and never returned to the starting five. Evans' overall numbers decreased from the previous season, and she wasn't much more than a streaming option after shifting to a bench role. The 26-year-old will get a fresh start after being traded to the Aces during the offseason, but she'll presumably have to settle for a bench role behind Jewell Loyd and Chelsea Gray. Evans' scoring and passing abilities will make her a streaming candidate if some of her teammates are unavailable, but it seems unlikely that she'll be a viable season-long fantasy contributor.

The Sky lost several significant players ahead of the 2023 season, leading to some speculation that Evans could take on a starting role. She ultimately came off the bench in 38 of her 39 appearances last year but was one of the team's most prominent reserves, averaging 9.0 points, 3.0 assists and 1.2 rebounds in 21.5 minutes per game. The Sky will likely be in a rebuilding phase once again in 2024 after trading Kahleah Copper to Phoenix and losing Courtney Williams in free agency to Minnesota. Evans had career-best marks in most areas last season, but her fantasy potential in 2024 could be somewhat dependent on whether she's able to earn a starting role. She's capable of providing a spark if she can win a starting spot during training camp, but her upside will be somewhat limited if she continues to come off the bench.

Evans had a small role off the bench in 2022, averaging 4.3 points and 1.2 assists in 11.5 minutes across 33 appearances. However, she may be asked to step up for a Chicago team that lost high-usage playmakers Candace Parker and Courtney Vandersloot during the offseason. Depending on how the lineup shakes out, Evans could claim a starting role in the backcourt. At the very least, she should have a more regular role off the bench. For her career, she's taken over half her shots from three, converting at a rate of 35.7 percent. That's where she could benefit fantasy teams the most, though her career rate of 4.3 assists per 36 minutes is solid as well.

Evans began 2021 with the Wings before being traded in early June to Chicago, where she settled into a bench role. The rookie guard finished her partial season with the Sky tallying 3.9 points and 1.2 assists over 8.6 minutes per game. It doesn't appear promising that her role will be any more significant in 2022, given Chicago's addition of Jule Allemand via trade from the Fever, but Evans could see more time on the floor should other backcourt options miss time.
