Chelsea Gray

The Aces won the WNBA title in 2022 and added to their star-studded roster ahead of the 2023 campaign by acquiring Candace Parker. However, this didn't slow Gray down, as she put together the best performance of her career during her age-30 season. She averaged a career-high 15.3 points, 7.3 assists and 4.0 rebounds in 32.2 minutes per game while appearing in every regular-season matchup. She was unavailable for the series-clinching Game 4 of the WNBA Finals but should be healthy for the start of the 2024 campaign. Gray has been the pinnacle of health for most of her career and hasn't missed more than one game in a season since being sidelined for her entire rookie campaign in 2014. The 31-year-old has been a reliable contributor for years, but her performance in 2023 put her among the league's elite talent, even as she prepares to play in her 10th season in the WNBA. Parker will return to the Aces in 2024, but Gray still has elite fantasy potential heading into the 2024 campaign.

After Gray's production decreased in her first year with the Aces in 2021, she took a step forward in 2022, averaging 13.7 points, 6.1 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 29.7 minutes per game. Despite the star power that Las Vegas has at several possessions, Gray was named the Commissioner's Cup MVP and WNBA Finals MVP, highlighting her value to the team. The Aces formed one of two "superteams" during the offseason by adding Candace Parker, but Gray's prominent role on the team is secure. The 30-year-old's fantasy value could take a slight hit with more mouths to feed in Las Vegas, but her averages of 21.7 points, 7.0 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 34.0 minutes per game over 10 postseason appearances last year showcase her tremendous upside.

Gray's production declined slightly during her first season with the Aces in 2021, as she averaged 11.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.9 assists in 28.9 minutes per game while starting in every matchup. She was a somewhat inconsistent scorer for Las Vegas, but she logged at least three assists in all but one of her regular-season appearances, giving her a relatively stable fantasy floor. Gray is in line for a starting role once again to begin the 2022 campaign, and she should have the opportunity to develop into a viable fantasy starter in standard leagues.
