Carla Leite

After averaging 7.2 points, 2.0 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 17.2 minutes per game across 37 regular-season appearances (six starts) with the Valkyries in 2025, Leite was selected by the Fire in the 2026 Expansion Draft. Portland dealt with numerous injuries during the 2026 preseason, so it's unclear what the regular-season rotation will look like, but Leite started both exhibitions and appears poised for a lead role. If she's a regular starter, Leite could easily deliver top-100 production, especially given how fast the Fire are expected to play, but without a true star, it looks like everybody will get a chance to impress, at least at first. Leite is an intriguing, high-upside pick at the end of drafts. Her floor is strong enough to feel content about the selection, as she'll likely deliver steady production even if she doesn't have a massive role.
