Bridget Carleton

28-Year-Old ForwardF
 Portland Fire  WNBA
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Carleton played mainly off the bench across the first five years of her career, but she started in all but three of her regular-season appearances in 2024 and served exclusively as a starter last year. Despite maintaining a starting role in 2025, Carleton's production declined slightly, as she averaged 6.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 27.9 minutes per game after averaging 9.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 29.9 minutes per game the year before. The 28-year-old was the No. 1 pick by the Fire in the WNBA Expansion Draft in April, and she should have the opportunity to step into a prominent role with Portland. Carleton had somewhat limited upside with Minnesota, but she's an intriguing fantasy option to begin her tenure with the Fire. Read Past Outlooks
Drops 18 points in victory
FPortland Fire
May 18, 2026
Carleton finished with 18 points (5-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block across 33 minutes during Monday's 83-82 win over the Sun.
ANALYSIS
Carleton led the Fire to a win by pouring in a team-high 18 points. She was just as effective on the other end of the court, where she set the pace with three steals. Carleton has scored in double figures and has managed at least one steal in each of her first four regular-season appearances of 2026.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
2023
2022
Carleton played primarily off the bench over the first five years of her career, but she started in 36 of 39 appearances in 2024 and had a career-best season, averaging 9.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 29.9 minutes per game. She claimed her starting role after Diamond Miller sustained a knee injury, and Carleton didn't relinquish the job once Miller was available. Miller showed promise as a rookie, so it wouldn't be surprising to see the two players share more work this year if Miller is fully available. Carleton has some fantasy appeal if she can build upon last year's production in 2025, but she has some bust potential if Miller is utilized more often.
Carleton will play for the Lynx for a sixth consecutive season in 2024 after signing a two-year deal with the team during the offseason. However, after a career-best season in 2020, her role has declined over the past three years. The 26-year-old started in just four of her 38 appearances last year, averaging 15.1 points and 3.2 rebounds in 15.1 minutes per game, all her lowest marks since 2019. Carleton is still capable of encouraging performances, but she has an inconsistent role on a team that features several young contributors. The Lynx made several notable offseason acquisitions, including Courtney Williams, Natisha Hiedeman and Alanna Smith, so Carleton profiles more as a streaming option than as a reliable season-long contributor.
Carleton re-signed with the Lynx this offseason and will spend a fifth straight season in Minnesota. She operated as a regular starter in 2020 and posted 6.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 25.8 minutes across 22 appearances (15 starts), but she's seen her role reduced in back-to-back campaigns. The Lynx retained the majority of their roster and signed Tiffany Mitchell this offseason, so barring injuries, there's currently no clear path for Carleton to get back into the starting lineup on a regular basis. If she's relegated to a reserve role again, it's safe to presume she'll finish well outside the top 50 overall fantasy producers in 2023.
Carleton has started double-digit games in each of the last two seasons but played primarily off the bench during 2021. Regardless of her starting status, she could not generate meaningful production last year en route to shooting just 40.1 percent from the floor. She doesn't generally prop up her fantasy output in secondary categories, averaging just 2.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists in addition to her 4.3 points per game last year. Carleton played double-digit minutes in all but one of her appearances in 2021, but she scored in double figures just three times. She's in line for a bench role to begin the 2021 campaign and may be facing an uphill battle for fantasy relevance.
