Azzi Fudd

There were several candidates to go No. 1 overall in the 2026 WNBA Draft, but Fudd was ultimately selected by the Wings with the top pick and will join a team that made offseason improvements while retaining talented guards Arike Ogunbowale and former UConn teammate Paige Bueckers, who was the first overall pick in 2025. Fudd dealt with several significant injuries in high school and college but stayed healthy during the 2025-26 campaign and averaged 17.3 points, 3.1 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 2.5 steals in 28.7 minutes per game. She shot 44.7 percent from beyond the arc while attempting 6.7 three-pointers per game. She'll be an additional perimeter threat for the Wings right away, but the workload will likely be split between Bueckers, Ogunbowale and Fudd. While Fudd has the potential to be a stellar fantasy contributor right away, she carries some risk if she doesn't see enough shot volume. Read Past Outlooks
