Awak Kuier

Kuier saw a slight uptick in playing time in 2023 while playing exclusively off the bench once again, but she averaged just 2.8 points and 2.5 rebounds in 12.6 minutes per game. She didn't log double figures in any statistical categories during her 33 appearances last year and will have to work behind starting center Teaira McCowan again in 2023. So while Isabelle Harrison's departure clears one potential hurdle to minutes, Kuier seems unlikely to produce enough to warrant an immediate look in most fantasy formats. However, offseason acquisition Diamond DeShields is slated to miss extended time early in the season due to a knee injury and McCowan will be away from the team for a while in June, so there could be certain stretches where Kuier logs additional action.
