2026 Fantasy Outlook
Reese was dominant when healthy in 2025, collecting a league-high-tying 23 double-doubles, despite appearing in only 30 contests. Availability ended up being an issue, however, as Reese was active for only nine of Chicago's final 23 games of the campaign due to a back injury. She'll get a change of scenery in 2026 after being traded to the Dream. While she'll have a stronger supporting cast around her this season, she's established herself as a dominant fantasy option over her first two years in the league and should remain a top option in Atlanta. After participating in the Unrivaled season this past winter, Reese appears to be fully healthy this year. Last regular season, the All-Star forward averaged 14.7 points, a league-leading 12.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.5 steals in 31.6 minutes per contest in 30 games. Read Past Outlooks
Questionable against Sparks
FAtlanta Dream
Leg
July 12, 2026
Reese (leg) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against Los Angeles.
ANALYSIS
Reese didn't play in Saturday's 101-92 loss to Portland, marking her first absence of the 2026 campaign. If that trend continues Monday versus the Sparks, Madina Okot would presumably remain in the starting lineup.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
Reese fell to No. 7 in the 2024 WNBA Draft but immediately made an impact in Chicago as a rookie. She posted double-doubles in 26 of her 34 appearances, including a stretch of 15 consecutive double-doubles that set a WNBA record. In total, Reese averaged 13.9 points and a league-leading 13.1 rebounds in 32.5 minutes per game while serving exclusively as a starter. She missed the final six games of the regular season due to a wrist injury but was back in action as part of the Unrivaled women's basketball league during the offseason, and she should be fully healthy for the start of the 2025 campaign. Even if Elizabeth Williams and Kamilla Cardoso are healthy for most of 2025, Reese should remain a top-tier fantasy option following her record-breaking rookie season.
Reese spent two seasons at Maryland to begin her college career but transferred to LSU ahead of the 2022-23 season and helped lead the Tigers to a national championship during her first year with the program. The forward was consistently dominant wherever she played, averaging double-doubles in three of her four collegiate seasons. Over her career with the Terrapins and Tigers, she averaged 18.6 points and 12.3 rebounds in 28.5 minutes per game. Reese was selected by Chicago with the No. 7 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft and will join another rookie frontcourt star in Kamilla Cardoso, who was drafted third overall. The Sky have veterans Elizabeth Williams and Isabelle Harrison returning to the team in 2024, and they also added Diamond DeShields, Michaela Onyenwere and Brianna Turner during the offseason. While Reese showcased plenty of potential in college, it's unclear exactly what role she'll be able to carve out to begin her WNBA career. Chicago appears poised to rely on a physical style of play under first-year coach Teresa Weatherspoon, which bodes well for Reese's potential as a rookie.
