After stumbling to a 9-17-0 rushing line in Week 9, Valladay enjoyed a bit of a surge in the regular-season finale while scoring his second touchdown in three games on a 12-yard run in the third quarter. Valladay logged one fewer carry than Abram Smith but outpaced Deon Jackson by three rush attempts, and quarterback Jason Bean comfortably led the way for DC's ground attack with 116 rushing yards. All three backs are likely to retain a solid complementary role in Sunday's playoff rematch against the Storm, although both of Bean and Spencer Sanders can contribute plenty with their legs out of the quarterback position.
