Taua rushed six times for 30 yards and a touchdown while bringing in his only target for 17 yards in the Aviators' 17-13 loss to the Gamblers on Sunday.

Although Zaquandre White paced the Aviators' ground attack with 10 carries, Taua effectively filled a complementary role by being the more efficient of the two, as well as the only one to score a touchdown. Taua, who recorded six rushing scores over seven games with the Michigan Panthers during the 2025 UFL season, crossed the goal line for the second straight contest on a seven-yard run late in the first half. Taua has at least one reception and three carries in each game thus far, and the fact he also has a pair of double-digit-rush-attempt tallies keeps him viable for a Week 6 home rematch with the Gamblers on Friday night.
