Spencer Sanders
Fills box score in loss
Sanders completed 10 of 21 passes for 160 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions and rushed eight times for 75 yards during the Defenders' 27-19 loss to the Storm in Week 9.
ANALYSIS
Making his first start following Jordan Ta'amu's season-ending knee injury, Sanders was hit and miss as a passer, completing under 50.0 percent of his passes for the second time in as many games. However, he showed off his mobility on multiple occasions, leading to a team-high rushing yardage total. The Defenders have clinched a playoff spot, however, so it remains to be seen if head coach Shannon Harris will find a way to give Jason Bean some playing time under center during a Week 10 rematch with the Storm next Sunday in an attempt to nail down his postseason signal-caller.
