Bean's final numbers tell the tale of a still developing passer having his share of struggles through the air but making up for it with an elite performance on the ground. Making his first start since his trade to the Defenders, Bean recorded a game-high rushing yardage total with the help of a game-long 47-yard scamper, and he added his first passing TD since Week 3 when he connected with Briley Moore-McKinney from 16 yards out as time expired. It remains to be seen whether head coach Shannon Harris will opt to go with Bean, Spencer Sanders, or a combination of the two when the Defenders face the Storm in Sunday's playoff game at the neutral site of Daytona Stadium in Daytona Beach, Florida.
