ANALYSIS
As was the case in his Week 9 starting debut, Morton had an eventful afternoon replete with ups and downs. The Prairie View A & M product tossed a pick-six on the first play from scrimmage, but he bounced back by leading the Aviators to a field goal and tossing a 23-yard touchdown pass to Keke Chism on the next two possessions. Morton ultimately completed well under 50.0 percent of his passes, but he also averaged an elevated 15.8 yards per completion while connecting on four passes of 23 yards or more. Morton put some good play on film over the last two games, and he should have a good chance of making a strong case for a starting job next spring if he returns to the UFL.
