Erik Ezukanma
Exceeds 200 all-purpose yards
Ezukanma brought in four of five targets for 55 yards and returned six kickoffs for 146 yards during the Defenders' 33-30 loss to the Kings in Week 8.
ANALYSIS
A 2022 fourth-round pick of the Miami Dolphins, Ezukanma spent four seasons in South Florida but came away with just five carries for 22 yards and one catch for three yards on four targets to show for it. However, the Texas Tech product has been making good use of his additional opportunities in the UFL, and in Week 8, he led the Defenders in receptions, receiving yards and targets despite Jordan Ta'amu exiting the game in the first quarter due to a lower-body injury. Ezukanma was also outstanding as a returner, and he's now averaging 24.1 yards per touch in that capacity. Ezukanma has plenty of competition for targets in a deep Defenders pass-catching corps, but he appears to be coming on down the stretch as evidenced by his four straight multi-reception tallies.
