Ellis Merriweather
Finds pay dirt twice
Merriweather rushed 18 times for 55 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 5 loss to Louisville. He also caught three of five targets for 33 yards.
ANALYSIS
The Renegades' offense looked subpar while Austin Reed (14-28, 195 yards, 1 TD, 4 INT) was under center, but Merriweather carried the rushing attack and found the end zone twice. These were the first two rushing touchdowns for Merriweather this season, and he should remain as Dallas' RB1, although that doesn't say much given the team's tendency to rely on their passing game. That could change in the near future given Reed's recent struggles, and under that scenario, Merriweather would be the biggest beneficiary from a fantasy perspective.
