Rogers was set for an abbreviated stint in Sunday's game due to the Kings already having a playoff spot locked up before kickoff, but he ended up not making a single pass attempt because of a relatively unique start to the game. The Kings recorded a pick-six of Jalen Morton on the game's first play from scrimmage to give the ball right back to the Aviators, and Tyler Hudson then lost a fumble on Louisville's first kickoff return to further delay the Kings' first possession. Rogers finally made it onto the field with 8:25 remaining in the first quarter, but Ian Wheeler recorded six straight rush attempts before the young signal-caller recorded his touchdown run. N'Kosi Perry then took over under center, but Rogers will lead the Kings' offense in Sunday's road playoff battle against the Battlehawks.
