Silvers completed 16 of 28 passes for 198 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions and rushed five times for minus-2 yards during the Battlehawks' 16-10 win over the Defenders in Week 1.
ANALYSIS
Silvers' numbers were relatively modest overall, but the spring league veteran stayed away from turnovers and managed the offense well. Silvers connected with an impressive nine different targets overall, and he hit Tyler Neville for his one touchdown pass from 10 yards out. The Troy State product put some encouraging play on tape the last time he had an extended opportunity to start back in 2023 with the XFL's Houston Roughnecks, so it will be interesting to monitor how he develops over the course of the season.
