Busy in dual roles during loss
Wells brought in four of six targets for 43 yards and a touchdown and returned four punts for 41 yards during the Aviators' 28-23 loss to the Renegades in Week 3.
ANALYSIS
Wells remained busy after also producing a solid 5-48-0 line on six targets in Week 2 against the Defenders. The Mississippi product has quickly recorded an 11-118-1 line on 14 targets through his first three UFL games, and he recorded his first spring league score on a two-yard grab just before the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter. Wells finished either tied for second or as the sole runner-up in receptions, receiving yards and targets during Sunday's loss, and he should retain a similarly robust role during a Week 4 home rematch with Dallas on Friday night.
