McFarland led the Stallions in rushing yards, but he still was under 4.0 yards per carry for the second time in four games. Birmingham's offense has struggled on occasion and McFarland has topped out at 56 rushing yards in terms of a single-game figure, but he would appear to have a secure role alongside Snoop Conner in the backfield. The Stallions did trade for a mobile quarterback in Dorian Thompson-Robinson on Sunday, however, so it remains to be seen if the latter's mobility will eat into McFarland's opportunities on occasion.
