Joins Sparta Prague permanently
Hegyi has completed a permanent transfer to Sparta Prague from West Ham, the club announced.
ANALYSIS
Hegyi joined West Ham from Haladas at age 16 in 2019 and made over 90 appearances for the club's U21 and U18 teams, while also being part of the squad that won the UEFA Europa Conference League in 2022/23. Hegyi gained senior experience through loan spells at Stevenage, Den Bosch, Motherwell, Debrecen and MTK Budapest, and has earned nearly 50 caps for Hungary at age-group level including an appearance at the 2019 U17 World Cup, along with a senior call-up in 2023. He now joins Sparta Prague in search of regular first-team football after seven years in West Ham's system.
