Loan extended at Nurnberg
Fernandez will spend a second loan spell at Nurnberg after Bayern Munich and the Franconian club agreed to extend his temporary move for one further year, his parent club announced.
ANALYSIS
Fernandez made eight second division appearances including five starts during the second half of the season under coach Miroslav Klose after joining in January 2026, and both parties were sufficiently encouraged by his development to agree on another year in Franconia.
