Meiser came through Augsburg's academy since joining at U13 level and was called into the first-team's Bundesliga matchday squad on six occasions, though he spent this past season primarily with the reserves, making 20 appearances in the Regionalliga Bayern for Augsburg's U23 side along with six for the U19s.
