Returns to Dortmund from loan
Ramaj has returned to Borussia Dortmund after his season-long loan at Heidenheim expired, with Heidenheim not planning to extend the loan or sign him permanently.
ANALYSIS
Ramaj was Heidenheim's undisputed number one this past season, playing every minute of the club's matches and establishing himself as one of the Bundesliga's more reliable young goalkeepers, but Heidenheim were relegated, complicating their plans and pushing the club toward a different goalkeeping setup with 21-year-old Frank Feller. With his loan up, Ramaj is back at Dortmund, where he has a contract through 2029, but he has been vocal about not wanting to sit behind Gregor Kobel as a backup and says he needs regular playing time. Ramaj is set to return to Borussia Dortmund in summer 2026, where his future will then be assessed.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Arsenal could move for him
Ramaj is one of many goalkeepers Arsenal are keeping close tabs on ahead of the summer transfer window, according to The London Evening Standard.
ANALYSIS
Arsenal are set to sign David Raya to a multi-year, permanent deal in the summer, which will result in Aaron Ramsdale's departure. If that is confirmed, the Gunners will need to sign a new goalkeeper, either to perform as a backup or to compete for the starting gig with Raya. Ramaj has shown glimpses of his quality with Ajax, but he's not ready to take over the starting gig with the Gunners. He'd be Raya's backup with an eye toward the future if he were to sign with Arsenal in the summer.
