Drexler completed a permanent transfer from Hoffenheim to RB Salzburg in January.

Drexler spent the first half of the 2025/26 season on loan at Nürnberg, but he joined Salzburg in the final days of the January transfer window. The promising center-back signed a deal with the Austrian club until the end of the 2027/28 season.
