Oliver Batista Meier News: Signs with Paderborn

Batista Meier has joined SC Paderborn 07 from Preussen Munster, according to the club. The 25 year old forward made 30 second division appearances last season, contributing six goals and four assists for Munster. "Olli has already gained a lot of experience at a high level in his career," said Sporting director Sebastian Lange.

Batista Meier arrives at Paderborn after a productive campaign in Germany's second tier and brings a versatile attacking profile developed through spells at Bayern Munich's academy, SC Heerenveen, Dynamo Dresden, Grasshoppers Zurich, SC Verl and SSV Ulm before landing at Munster last summer. He was capped 28 times for German youth national teams and represented the country at the 2018 U17 European Championship. With Paderborn set to compete in the Bundesliga, Batista Meier projects as a regular contributor to the attack as he looks to build on last season's output.
