Jean Valou News: Loaned to Getafe

Valou has joined Getafe on a season long loan without an option to buy from Villarreal, according to the club.

Valou is a center back from the Ivory Coast who put together an excellent campaign as a key piece of Villarreal B's defense under coach David Albelda last season. The move to Getafe gives him a shot at senior first division experience, and his adaptation to a new environment will be one to monitor as he looks to build on his development from the reserve side.
