Hussein Ali News: One duel won

Ali registered one shot (zero on goal) in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to Norway.

Ali made his World Cup debut on Tuesday, with his first test being Erling Haaland and Norway. He only won one duel while making two clearances with an 81 percent pass accuracy rate. He only played until the 73rd minutes as he was replaced by Mustafa Saadoon, who is another solid option at right back for Iraq. As a fullback, he does have some scoring abilities in him, recording two goals with his club team Pogon Szczecin in Poland, especially after getting a shot on target vs Norway.
