Guillermo Varela News: Reliable two-way threat

Varela registered two shots (zero on goal), six crosses (three accurate) and two chances created in Monday's 1-1 draw versus Saudi Arabia.

Varela didn't have a lot of work defensively, but he was quite a threat offensively with his crossing after building up a proper partnership with Federico Valverde on the right. Varela is expected to remain in the XI to face Cape Verde on Sunday, another game in which he should have plenty of opportunities to move forward and generate both chances and crosses.
