Vargas made no saves and allowed zero goals in Friday's 1-0 victory versus Ghana.
Vargas was forced to do almost nothing on Friday, as the keeper would record a clean sheet without facing a single shot on net. This is his third clean sheet of the tournament, earning one in three straight games, having yet to give up a goal since their group stage opener. He will now face Switzerland in the round of 16, a team that should give him much more trouble than Ghana.
