Brahim Diaz News: Two assists in Round of 16

Diaz assisted twice to go with two chances created in Saturday's 3-0 win versus Canada.

Diaz hadn't been able to contribute much in Morocco's first four matches in the tournament, but the Real Madrid playmaker stepped up right when the team needed him the most. He set up the team's second and third goals, but more importantly, he was a creative threat and an unsolvable problem for the Canadian defense. Morocco will need Diaz at his best if they want to keep progressing in the tournament, but this outing should spark his confidence. He's now up to four assists in the 2026 World Cup campaign.
