FORWARDS / MIDFIELDERS

Robert Lewandowski, BAY v. BAR ($21): Bayern have the highest-implied goal total and Lewandowski has the highest goalscoring odds. He's been untouchable in the five group matches, as he scored nine goals and supplied 13 shots on goal to go with eight chances created. Bayern have secured first place in the group already, so there is the chance for rest at some point during the match, though Bayern's long injury list (and his desire to score more goals) means he should still start. Leroy Sane ($19) is slightly cheaper and has scored four goals and provided four assists in Champions League. He should see less ownership than Lewandowski, which could make him a better tournament play. Multiple injuries to Bayern's attack could bring Jamal Musiala ($14) into the XI and he could be a slate changer if he gets the start. Barcelona have their own lineup issues, which could allow Abdessamad Ezzalzouli ($14) to start his third-straight match against Bayern Munich.

Bruno Fernandes, MUN v. YB ($20): Cristiano Ronaldo ($22) has the second-highest goalscoring odds behind Robert Lewandowski but is the most expensive player on the slate. Both

Both he and Lewandowski have been unstoppable in the Champions League so you'll likely want to roster one of them if possible. Bruno Fernandes ($20) has provided an assist in all five matches and may be a better cash game play. On top of the assists, he's created the third-most scoring chances (18) and United have an arguably better matchup against BSC Young Boys than Bayern have against Barcelona. Marcus Rashford ($19) and Mason Greenwood ($18) are both expected to start if you want less-popular starters in a favorable matchup. Pefok ($16) scored the match winner in the previous meeting between these sides and added another goal to his tally in the 3-3 draw with Atalanta last time out. Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu ($15) has finished with more than 16.6 fantasy points in three of five appearances and could be a formidable value option.

Manu Trigueros, VIL at ATA ($17): In the previous meeting with Atalanta, the match ended in a 2-2 draw that saw Trigueros score a goal on three shots on target. In his three Champions League starts, he's finished with 38.2, 15.9 and 26.8 points. Neither side have been particularly effective in attack and both will be playing for a place in the knockout rounds, especially Atalanta, who will need a win to advance. This could leave space for the Villarreal attack to exploit, specifically the likes of Trigueros, Gerard Moreno ($19) and Arnaut Danjuma ($16). Moreno has had extended absences due to injury but was able to play 45 minutes over the weekend. Moi Gomez ($10) is a cheap expected starter who can be productive enough to fill out a roster. Atalanta's attack is led by Duvan Zapata ($20), who leads Atalanta with two goals and three assists. Luis Muriel ($17) is the secondary goal scorer and Ruslan Malinovskyi ($16) takes set pieces if you want a serviceable pivot for Atalanta. This match has the second-highest implied goal total behind Bayern Munich and Barcelona, but most of these players are cheaper than the stars in that match.

Serhiy Sydorchuk, DYN at BEN ($11): This is hardly a sexy selection but on a slate with Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski, you need a player who can put together a respectable point total. Serhiy Sydorchuk does it through his defensive work, as he ranks first in tackles (20) and seventh in interceptions (11). His floor hovers around 10 points and he should see plenty of defensive work with Benfica favored. Mykola Shaparenko ($10) takes the majority of the set pieces for Dynamo Kiev and offers slightly more in attack than Sydorchuk does. Neither can match the attacking output of Darwin Nunez ($20) for Benfica, though their price differences reflect that.

DEFENDERS

Oleksandr Syrota, DYN at BEN ($13): Despite only appearing in four matches, Oleksandr Syrota is tied for fourth in clearances (31) behind three players who have all played six matches. A lot of this is due to Dynamo Kiev being pinned in defensively for long stretches, which has led to Syrota being an excellent source of clearances. This should continue against Benfica, which may lead to another serviceable day from the center-back. His teammate, Illia Zabarnyi ($12) is similarly solid in defense and could have a big day alongside Syrota. Nicolas Otamendi ($13) has 21-plus points in three starts and is complimented by the top clean sheet odds against Kiev, a side who have scored one goal in five group stage matches.

Sven Botman, LIL at WOL ($8): After missing six weeks due to injury, Botman recently returned to the lineup and is expected to start against Wolfsburg on Wednesday. Prior to injury, he was averaging over four clearances per match. He's cheap relative to his production when healthy and this match has the lowest-implied total for the six matches. He's a good defender to stuff into the lineup alongside some of the more coveted attackers. Josuha Guilavogui ($11) has scored around 12 points in all four of his starts and should be able to replicate that against Lille.

GOALKEEPERS

Manuel Neuer, BAY v. BAR ($12): Odisseas Vlachodimos ($14) has the best clean sheet odds and also the most expensive price. He's followed by Dean Henderson in price and clean sheet odds, while Manuel Neuer ($12) and Juan Musso ($12) are the same price. It's rare not to see Neuer be at the top of the pricing structure and I believe Barcelona haven't shown enough to think Neuer can't make a few saves in a win, and potentially in a clean sheet. He's finished with at least 16.5 points in four of five matches and could easily hit that Wednesday. Georgiy Bushchan ($6) is the cheapest of the expected starters due to a tough matchup against Benfica. Despite Geronimo Rulli's ($8) price, he's been dynamic in net, scoring at least seven points in his past four Champions League matches, including a 26-point performance against Young Boys.
