Finishes On Podium
IRL
March 15, 2026
Power finished third in Sunday's Java House Grand Prix of Arlington, picking up his first podium of the 2026 NTT IndyCar Series season.
ANALYSIS
Power used a different pit strategy than the rest of the top drivers on Sunday, hitting pit road just twice while every other driver made three or more stops. That helped the Andretti Global driver lead 16 laps on the way to a third-place finish, his best of the season. Poor runs in the first two races have Power still buried in 11th in the overall point standings, but the veteran has some momentum heading to Barber Motorsports Park. The former champion has two wins at the track, taking home the trophy in 2011 and 2012. More recently, he's finished fifth or better in his past five races in Birmingham.
