Solid showing in Phoenix
O'Ward finished fourth in the Good Ranchers 250 at Phoenix Raceway in Saturday's IndyCar race.
ANALYSIS
O'Ward had pace all weekend, as he qualified seventh and looked to be in contention for a win late in the race. He was among seven drivers to pit under caution on Lap 212 and quickly moved up to fourth place in the ensuing laps. However, O'Ward stalled there and watched Josef Newgarden, who followed the same strategy, take home the win. While it was a disappointing finish, O'Ward has started the 2026 season with two finishes inside the top five.
