Armstrong spent the final lap of the Indianapolis 500 battling with teammate Felix Rosenqvist, but was forced to lift to avoid a potential crash. That was enough to let Rosenqvist clear him and go on to take the victory, while Armstrong was caught by the cars behind him and dropped to fifth.
