Layne Riggs

Front Row Motorsports
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Riggs' second full season in the Craftsman Truck Series would be his most successful to-date. The FRM driver would rack up three victories, four pole positions, 13 Top-5 and 16 Top-10 finishes. He would otherwise be overshadowed in a campaign that was dominated by Corey Heim. However, Riggs would have an incredible season despite not winning the championship. With Heim no longer a part of the championship picture, this division of NASCAR is up for grabs. Riggs will throw his hat in that championship ring and make a good effort at this season's title. He has the capability to win multiple races and stack up the Top-5 finishes. Riggs and crew chief, Dylan Cappello, finished the last season strong with a pair of pole positions and three-straight Top-5 finishes. They'll carry that momentum into the new season. Wins Lime Rock Pole
Craftsman Truck Series
July 11, 2026
Riggs won the pole for the LiUNA 150 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Lime Rock Park on Saturday. He turned a fast lap of 99.115 mph.
ANALYSIS
Riggs improved dramatically over his practice runs earlier in the day at Lime Rock Park. He would advance into the final round and knock off Connor Mosack to grab the pole position for the LiUNA 150. It was Riggs' first pole of the season and fifth-career pole position. The Front Row Motorsports driver will be a top contender to win Saturday at Lime Rock Park.

2025
2024
After a successful first season of racing with FRM, Riggs returns for another season with this solid race team. The young driver stacked up two wins and 10 Top-10 finishes last year and teased the potential for what they have going forward. Bringing Chandler Smith and his expertise into Front Row Motorsports only bolsters this team and gives Riggs a good teammate to exchange information with. The driver of the No. 38 Ford has won and shown talent at all stages of his development and at just 22-years-old he's just barely scratched the surface in terms of his potential. Riggs will be a driver to watch closely in the upcoming season.
The 21-year-old talent will take on his first full Craftsman Truck Series season and be top contender to win rookie of the year. Riggs has proven his skill in late model stock car racing and is now ready to progress his skills to the next level. This is the same No. 38 FRM team that propelled Zane Smith to two wins and 10 Top-5 finishes last season. Gone is crew chief Chris Lawson, but Dylan Cappello steps up from his engineering role with the team to lead Riggs' first full season. This is a solid, steady and proven race team with the capability to win races. Riggs has bundles of talent and we believe after a brief adjustment, he'll be racing among the top drivers in the series.
