Runner-up Finish in Detroit
IRL
May 31, 2026
Kirkwood finished second in the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix NTT IndyCar Series race at the Detroit Street Circuit on Sunday afternoon.
ANALYSIS

Kirkwood would chase Alex Palou to frustration in the closing laps as his tires quickly faded away. The Andretti Global star would still grab an impressive runner-up finish at 3-seconds behind Palou at the checkered flag.
