Building on a strong opening practice Friday at Long Beach, Kirkwood turned in an impressive lap of 1:07.5417 in Saturday's second practice at the street circuit. It was the fastest lap of the weekend to this point. Kirkwood edged David Malukas to lead the speed charts at Long Beach.
