Fast Day 2 in Bahrain
Antonelli set the pace on Day 2 of the second 2026 pre-season test in Bahrain, with the Mercedes racer heading the timesheets from McLaren's Oscar Piastri and the Red Bull of Max Verstappen, Formula1.com reports.

The young driver capped what was an impressive two days of testing Bahrain for Mercedes. George Russell would highlight day 1 but Antonelli would take his turn on day 2 and post a lap of 1:32.803, the best of the two days. He would edge Piastri by a half-tenth to lead the time sheets.
