Rahal has had tons of success at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course over the years, and Saturday was no exception. The RLL Racing veteran had good pace and was able to stay out of the many accidents that dotted the race. Rahal would shore up Top-5 track position late and settle in behind David Malukas in the closing laps. He would hold off Josef Newgarden by about 2-seconds at the finish to secure the strong podium finish.
