Rosenqvist became the first driver this week to top 233 mph by leading "Fast Friday" practice for the 110th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge, turning a top lap of 233.372 mph in the No. 60 SiriusXM Honda of Meyer Shank Racing w/Curb Agajanian, IndyCar.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The session would be shorted by one hour due to rain but that wouldn't prevent Rosenqvist from finding some extra speed. The Meyer Shank cars have been strong all week and Fast Friday was no exception. Rosenqvist would top 233 mph and beat out Alexander Rossi by less than a tenth to lead the session. He looks like a threat to win the Indy 500 pole this weekend.
